Relay For Life LogoAloha Classmates! — I hope you are all well and enjoying your summer. Once again, Kamehameha is sponsoring a Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It will be held at Konia Field on the Kapalama campus from 6 p.m. Saturday August 18th to 6 a.m. Sunday August 19th. This year will be a milestone of sorts for Kamehameha. It's our 5th year of participation -- a special number. As we consider how 5 years of remission is reason to celebrate, so too do we celebrate the achievements made by our efforts over the last 5 years. But our battle is far from over.

Dear Friends... It seems that lately my emails to you have been sad news of the passing of our classmates.  I appreciate all of you who send me replies and remembrances.  Last year as we celebrated our 35th reunion we also included a community service project at the Waimanalo Kupuna Housing project.  It was a great gathering of classmates doing something for others and it was so successful that we decided to try to do something every year.
